Benaka lines up for $14.3M Army Reserve Center upgrade

ConDig (21-Jun-17).  New Brunswick, New Jersey-based construction services contractor Benaka Inc has secured a $14.3 million contract for the revamp of an existing US Army building in Bullville, New York.

Under the firm-fixed-price deal, the company will add and make alterations to the 150-member SSG Frederick J.III Jr. US Army Reserve Center.

Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018.

Benaka was awarded the deal following a tender issued through the Internet, with four companies in total battling it out for the contract.

US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Kentucky, issued the contract.
