KL House Construction bags $53.9M deal to build Special Operations Forces facility

ConDig (25-May-18).  Albuquerque, New Mexico-based construction company KL House Construction has landed a $53.9 million design and build contract to build a squadron operations facility and Special Tactics squadron operational facilities at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico.

Under the fixed-price contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, KL House Construction will build the facility in Cannon Air Force Base, with an estimated completion date slated for July 24, 2020.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said that four bids were received via the Internet.

Meanwhile, St. Paul, Minnesota-based LS Black Constructors Inc has won a $12.4 million contract to build a training and mobilization dining facility at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.

The firm-fixed-price contract is also with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is expected to be completed  by August 9, 2019.
