MRM Construction Services bags $46M deal to revamp paving at Air Force bases in Arizona

ConDig (13-Jun-17).  Phoenix, Arizona-based MRM Construction Services Inc has secured a $46 million contract to upgrade base and airfield paving across three Air Force bases in Arizona, including Luke Air Force Base.

Under the indefinite-delivery and quantity contract, the company will provide repair, alteration, maintenance and build new roads, parking lots and airfield taxiways, runways and aircraft parking areas. It also includes markings and rubber removal from runways.

The project, which also covers work to be carried out at Gila Bend Auxiliary Air Field, Arizona, and Barry M. Goldwater Range, is expected to be complete by June 11 2022.

The competitive acquisition tender released by the 56th Contracting Squadron at Luke Air Force Base received four offers.
