Primoris nets civil and M&E contracts worth $69M

ConDig (27-Jun-19).  Dallas, Texas-based construction and infrastructure company Primoris Services Corp has secured civil engineering and mechanical and electrical contracts worth a total of $69 million.

Both projects, which were landed by the industrial constructors division, are located in the southern US and for unnamed industrial customers.

The first award is for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work at an existing industrial facility, while the civil project is associated with a new industrial facility.

Work is slated to kick off in the second quarter of this year and completion is expected in the second quarter of 2020.

It comes as Primoris Services Corp won two pipeline contracts in Texas with a combined value of over $23 million earlier this month.

Last month, Primoris said it had secured a $71 million contract to revamp an existing highway interchange in Louisiana.

It follows an announcement by Primoris that it had secured three contracts worth a total of $25 million for upgrades to natural gas pipelines in California.

In April, Primoris secured a $19 million deal for the second phase construction of an industrial gas plant in Texas.

In February, Primoris reported a 51% boost in revenue to $877.7 million in the year ended December 31, 2018, compared with $579 million in the same period a year earlier.
