Skanska secures $52M deal to build science school in Washington

ConDig (10-Sept-18).  Developer and contractor Skanska has landed a $52 million deal to construct a sciences building at the WSU Pullman campus in Pullman, Washington.

Under the deal, the contractor will build a 7,700 square meter facility where plant science research will be carried out.

The four-story building will house an open, modular wet-lab space; shared support functions and office space for principal investigators, staff and research assistants.

Construction is underway and slated for completion in 2020.

In July, Skanska pocketed a $189 million deal to build a 13 story patient tower at Duke University Healthcare’s main campus in Durham, North Carolina.
