Tutor Perini plugs into $122M waterworks contract in Guam

ConDig (25-Jun-19).  A subsidiary of civil, building and specialty construction company Tutor Perini has landed a $122 million contract to build a wastewater treatment plant in the Village of Dededo, in the US island territory of Guam.

Under the deal with the Guam Waterworks Authority, Black Construction Corporation (BCC) will build a secondary wastewater treatment facility at the Northern District Wastewater Treatment Plant, as well as upgrades and repurposing of existing infrastructure and facilities at the plant.

Work on the project is expected to begin in the third quarter of this year, with substantial completion slated for the fourth quarter of 2021.

In August, a subsidiary of Tutor Perini pocketed a $121 million water and power tunneling project in Los Angeles.
