ConDig (29-May–24) Swedish developer and contractor Skanska has bagged a $90 million contract to build a data center in Georgia.
Under the deal with the unnamed client, the company will construct a 22,700 square-meter data center, associated site work, and underground utilities.
The contract also includes the fit out of an administration space and five data halls.
Work on the project started in August and is slated for completion in February 2026.
Earlier this month, Skanska secured a $51.4 million deal to construct a department building at Virginia Tech’s new College of Engineering.
Last month, Skanska secured a $94 million deal to construct a manufacturing facility in the Northeast.
Earlier in April, Skanska nabbed an additional $166 million deal to build a hospital in Lakeland, Florida.
