Con Dig (16-Jul-26) — Skanska has been awarded a $390 million contract to build a high-tech fabrication facility for a confidential client in Boise, Idaho.
The contract will be included in the company’s U.S. order bookings for the third quarter of 2026.
The project includes construction of a new fabrication facility, a dedicated central utility plant and associated site infrastructure.
Skanska did not disclose a construction schedule or identify the client.
The award was announced alongside the company’s second-quarter 2026 financial results, in which Skanska reported construction order bookings of SEK 68.0 billion ($7.3 billion), up 23% year over year after adjusting for currency effects.
The company also reported construction operating income of SEK 1.8 billion, representing an operating margin of 4.3%.
Skanska is one of the world’s largest construction and project development companies, with operations across Europe and North America.
