ConDig (27-Jun-17). A division of construction and infrastructure company Primoris Services Corp has landed a $53 million contract to build natural gas pipeline in Pennsylvania.
Under the deal, Rockford Corp will install 27 miles of gathering pipelines in the Marcellus shale region, including 24”, 16”, and 20” diameter pipeline.
Work on the contract for the unnamed energy infrastructure company is already underway and is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.
Primoris also recently signed a three-year $21 million master service agreement contract with a major utility company to carry out natural gas main and service renewal work in Northern and Northeastern Iowa.
The Dallas, Texas-based company said it is bullish about bidding opportunities following the recent deals, which will continue to increase its backlog.
It comes as Primoris acquired Florida Gas Contractors (FGC) for about $33 million cash last month.
FGC, based in Dade City, is a utility contractor specializing in underground natural gas infrastructure.
