16 contractors share in $200M construction deal for Army Medical Command

ConDig (28-Jul-17). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has selected 16 contractors to share in a $200 million firm-fixed-price contract for repair and minor construction projects for Army Medical Command.

Work locations and funding will be determined with each order and projects are expected to be competed by January 26, 2021.

A total of 19 bids were received via the Internet for the contract, according to the agency.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers appointed seven contractors for a potential $900 million contract to design and build healthcare facilities for the Air Force Medical Service across the country.

It comes as the U.S. Army last month selected nine companies for a $249 million contract to design and build healthcare facilities for the Army Medical Command.

*Sauer Incorporated, Jacksonville, Florida

*SES Construction and Fuel Services LLC, Oak Ridge, Tennessee
