Eight contractors share in $300M Air Force construction services deal

ConDig (03-May-18).  The US Air Force has selected eight contractors to share in a $300 million contract to carry out various construction projects across several military bases.

Under the five-year deal, the contractors will provide construction services at the Joint Base Langley-Eustis and other federal installation located within Virginia’s Hampton Roads area, as well as at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract includes a $2,000 minimum guarantee award to each contractor.

The award follows a competitive acquisition process and the Defense Department said that 43 bids were received.

The selected contractors are Construction Development Service Inc of Norfolk, Virginia;

Olympic Enterprise Inc, Hubert, North Carolina; Southeast Cherokee Construction Inc, Montgomery, Alabama and Leebcor Services LLC, Williamsburg, Virginia; Meltech Corporation Inc., Landover, Maryland and Ocean Construction Services, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Also included are Asturian Group Inc., Virginia Beach, Virginia and TDX Quality LLC, Anchorage, Alaska.
