Primoris lands $170M highway deal in Texas

ConDig (06-July-22) Dallas, Texas-based construction and infrastructure company Primoris Services Corp has driven off with a $170 million deal to build a section of a highway in Texas.

Under the deal with the Texas Department of Transportation, the company will construct a portion of Highway 59 in Polk County, Texas.

Work is scheduled to kick off in the third quarter of this year, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2024.

“This project is another example of how we deliver infrastructure essential to America’s future,” said Tom McCormick, president and chief executive officer of Primoris.

In May, Primoris landed a $130 million contract for a solar project in the south of the country.

In November, Primoris secured two heavy civil contracts from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for a combined value of $520 million.

It also secured two solar contracts for engineering, procurement, and construction of a utility-scale solar facility in Southwest and Midwest for more than $120 million.
