Austin, Texas — Oak Hill Parkway

A Fluor and Balfour Beatty joint venture has opened the $677 million Oak Hill Parkway following the reconstruction and widening of approximately seven miles of US 290 and SH 71 in southwest Austin. The project expanded the corridor to three main lanes in each direction and added flyovers, overpasses, frontage roads and bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. Final landscaping, paving and striping work is expected to continue through the end of 2026.
