Old Alice Road, Texas — 4.88-Mile Road Expansion

Cameron County is advancing the Old Alice Road Expansion Project near Los Fresnos, Texas, reconstructing approximately 4.88 miles of two-lane rural roadway into a four-lane urban corridor.

The project includes a center left-turn lane, shoulders and sidewalks and is intended to improve capacity, safety and connectivity between Brownsville and Los Fresnos.
