Pima County, Arizona — Middle Mile Broadband Network

Pima County has broken ground on a 134-mile open-access fiber-optic network around the Tucson-area urban core. The first segment begins a two-year construction program designed to provide backbone infrastructure that internet service providers can use to reach underserved communities.
