Skanska secures $109M Florida hospital deal

ConDig (05-Jul–23) Swedish developer and contractor Skanska has secured a $109 million contract to build a hospital in Lakeland, Florida.

Under the deal with the unnamed client, the company will build an approximately 54,000-square meter, seven-story acute care facility, featuring medical and support services including imaging, lab and pharmacy.

Construction has already kicked off and is slated for completion in 2026.

Last month, Skanska secured a $311 million deal to build a residence and campus center for a university in Boston.

In April, Skanska landed a $67 million supplemental contract for a manufacturing facility in the western United States.
