Primoris drives off with $19M deal for new Houston roadway

ConDig (05-Jan-18).  Construction and infrastructure company Primoris Services Corp has secured a $19 million contract to build a new roadway and four bridges in Houston, Texas.

Under the deal with the Texas Department of Transportation, the Dallas, Texas-based company will build two and a half miles of new roadway, including earthwork grading, the construction of four bridges and a four lane concrete paved boulevard roadway.

It also features intersections, pipe and inlet storm drainage system, retaining walls, traffic signals and roadway illumination.

Work is slated to start in the first quarter of this year and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2019.

In November, a division of Primoris landed a $27 million-plus contract for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work at an oil refinery in Southern California.
