ConDig (16-Dec-20). Swedish developer and contractor Skanska has signed an additional $80 million contract to expand Portland International Airport, Oregon.
Under the contract amendment with the Port of Portland, the company will work on the Terminal Core Expansion project. This will involve site work, temporary facilities, structure and roofing.
Work on the contract, which is a joint venture agreement with Hoffman Construction Co, is underway and slated for completion in 2025.
Earlier this month, Skanska inked a $90 million deal to build five care facilities in California.
Skanska also recently announced that it had landed a $335 million contract to rebuild roadways and utilities at Los Angeles airport.
In October, Skanska secured a $91 million contract to upgrade an aluminum processing facility in the Southeast of the US.
In September, Skanska secured a $64 million contract to build a data center in Oregon. It also bagged a $106 million deal last month for the 95 Northbound viaduct replacement in Providence, Rhode Island.
