Tutor Perini selected for $140M Choctaw Casino expansion in Oklahoma

Con Dig (16-Jul-26) — Tutor Perini Building Corp. has been selected to deliver a $140 million renovation and expansion of the Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola in Pocola, Oklahoma.

Tutor announced the award on July 16, saying its subsidiary has been working on the project’s preconstruction phase since 2025.

The project includes extensive interior and exterior renovations to the existing hotel and casino, including upgrades to its food and gaming venues.

The expansion will also add a new seven-story, 130-room hotel tower featuring a spa, fitness center and pool complex adjacent to the existing resort.

Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026.

Tutor Perini said the contract value will be added to the company’s backlog incrementally as design milestones are achieved and subsequent construction phases are awarded.

The Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola is owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
