ConDig (18-Jun–20). Dallas, Texas-based construction and infrastructure company Primoris Services Corp has landed a $155 million deal to build a utility-scale solar facility in the Southwest of the country.
Under the deal with the unnamed client, Primoris will carry out the engineering, procurement and construction of the solar plant. The scope of work includes foundations, electrical, mechanical and civil construction.
Primoris said that work to support the initial engineering, site investigation, long lead procurement and cost optimization started in the first quarter of this year. Project completion has been earmarked for the fourth quarter of 2021.
Earlier this month, Primoris said it had netted three contracts worth a total of $45 million to replace gas pipes in California.
Last month, Primoris said it had secured two industrial contracts worth a total of $62 million.
Also, Primoris secured a $200 million contract to build a renewable fuels plant in Bakersfield, California, last month.
