ConDig (08-May-24) Swedish developer and contractor Skanska has bagged a $238 million deal to build a data center in Georgia.
Under the deal with the unnamed client, the contractor will construct a 22,700 square-meter data center, associated site work, and underground utilities on an existing campus.
The project also involves fitout of an administration space and five data halls.
Work is expected to kick off in June and is slated for completion in May 2026.
Last month, Skanska secured a $94 million deal to construct a manufacturing facility in the Northeast.
Earlier in April, Skanska nabbed an additional $166 million deal to build a hospital in Lakeland, Florida.
