Skanska lands $72M deal to expand health facility in New Jersey

ConDig (03-Oct-22) Swedish developer and contractor Skanska has a bagged a $72 million contract to expand a health and wellness facility in New Jersey.

Under the deal with the unnamed client, the company will renovate and expand an academic health and wellness facility.

The project includes demolition, renovation and an expansion to the existing facility and is expected to provide additional recreation spaces focused on improving the health and well-being of the students and the larger campus community. 

Construction on the project is currently underway and completion is earmarked for March 2025.
Last week, Skanska said it had secured a $58 million contract to construct an ambulatory care cancer center in Livingston, New Jersey.

In January, Skanska drove off with a $1.09 billion contract for the Portal North Bridge replacement scheme in New Jersey.
