ConDig (5-Apr-17). Woodland, Washington-based civil contractor Stellar J Corp has won a $15.69 million contract to revamp the Columbia River Highway State Trail in Oregon.
The deal involves building the Summit Creek Viaduct, which is a 6 span, 500 -foot long pre-stressed concrete box beam bridge with cast-in-place concrete deck.
It also involves building the Gordon Creek Bridge that is a single span, 80-foot long pre-stressed concrete slab structure, along with the Lindsey Cut Bridge, which is a single span, 49-foot long pre-stressed concrete slab bridge with cast-in-place concrete deck.
Other work includes a mechanically stabilized welded wire walls, bin walls and tie-back walls. It also includes rock fall protection fencing, drainage improvements, parking lot, restroom and kiosk.
A tentative completion date for the project has been set for the fall and winter of next year.
The work forms part of the state trail reconnection project from Starvation Creek to Lindsey Creek, which was revealed last September.
