ConDig (19-Apr-17). The Department of Transportation (DOT) is set to upgrade a stretch of State Route 36 in California in a contract package worth between $35-40 million.
Under the project, work will roughly be carried out on the highway between the communities of Bridgeville and Dinsmore.
It will involve realigning the route horizontally and vertically, construct two 12 feet travel lanes with 4 feet paved shoulders and the installation of underdrains, sheet drains, and horizontal drains.
Advertisement of the project, which is expected in the near-term, will be on a full and open competition basis.
