ConDig (23-Mar-21) Dallas, Texas-based construction and infrastructure company Primoris Services Corp has landed a $220 million contract to build utility-scale solar facilities in the Southwest.
Under the deal with the unnamed client, the company will oversee the engineering, procurement and construction of the solar energy plants.
The contract includes construction of foundations, electrical, mechanical and civil scopes of work.
Work on the project will kick off in the first quarter of this year, with completion slated for the second quarter of 2022.
In December, Primoris bagged two pipeline deals worth a total of $39 million in North Tampa Bay.
In August, Primoris Services Corp secured a $30 million deal to revamp an existing roadway in Pearland, Texas.
In June, Primoris Services Corp plugged into a $155 million deal to build a utility-scale solar facility in the Southwest of the country.
Also in June, Primoris said it had netted three contracts worth a total of $45 million to replace gas pipes in California.
