ConDig (02-Oct–24) Swedish developer and contractor Skanska has secured two data center deals totaling $321 million.
Under the first deal with an unnamed existing client, the company bagged a $80 million supplemental contract to build additional data halls at a data center in Georgia.
The project involves the construction of four additional data halls on a previous data center site in Georgia.
Work is underway and is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2025.
Under the second deal, Skanska signed an additional contract with an existing client to build another data center in Arizona.
The $241 million deal consists of a single-story data center, totaling about 22,800 square meter (245,000 square feet).
Work will kick off in October and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026.
