ConDig (25-Sept-18). Developer and contractor Skanska has secured a $131 million deal to manage the construction of a new campus at Collin College in Wylie, Texas.
The four-building campus will total about 32,000 square meters and include a student center, campus commons, learning resource center and a central utility plant.
Work on the project is expected to kick off next month and is scheduled for completion in June 2020. Austin, Texas-based Page has been appointed the architect for the project.
It comes as Skanska said earlier this week it had landed a $111 million contract to upgrade a 200,000-square-foot academic building in Connecticut.
The company also secured a $52 million deal earlier this month to construct a sciences building at the WSU Pullman campus in Pullman, Washington.
