ConDig (23-Aug-17). Prime contractors are being sort for a road upgrade project in Carbon County, Wyoming, valued at between $15 million to $20 million.
The Sage Creek road revamp will involve resurfacing 33 miles of hot-asphalt concrete pavement and 11 miles of roadway surface aggregate, according to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
It is expected that the project will be open for bidding in November this year, with an estimated period of performance and notice to proceed expected in April through to October next year.
The FHWA said that a letter is required from a bonding agent stating an interest firm’s capability to bond for a single project of $20 million, along with a firm’s aggregate bonding capacity.
