ConDig (24-Sept-18). Developer and contractor Skanska has bagged a $111 million contract to upgrade a 200,000-square-foot academic building in Connecticut.
Under the deal with the unnamed client, the company will restore the building’s interior and exterior, including replacing its mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Work on the project has already started and is scheduled for completion in April 2020.
Skanska unveiled earlier this month that it had secured a $52 million deal to construct a sciences building at the WSU Pullman campus in Pullman, Washington.
In July, Skanska pocketed a $189 million deal to build a 13 story patient tower at Duke University Healthcare’s main campus in Durham, North Carolina
