Skanska to rebuild Jabil HQ in St. Petersburg for $57 million

ConDig (01-Apr-19).  Swedish developer and contractor Skanska has inked a $57 million deal to rebuild the headquarters of global manufacturer Jabil Inc in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Under the deal with BA Leasing BSC, the company said it will demolish the current building and construct a 16,000-square-meter, 4-story office structure, named New Roosevelt. 

The newly constructed site will sit on a lake shore and includes office spaces, customer engagement spaces, café and server spaces, fitness center and outdoor amenities.

Construction started in March this year and completion is slated for March 2021.

Last week, Skanska unveiled that it had landed a $45 million deal to build and renovate schools in Ohio.

Skanska announced earlier last month that it had landed a $48 million contract to build a manufacturing facility in the western region of the US.

Last month, landed a $96 million contract to widen State Route 60 in Riverside, California.

In January, Skanska announced that it had secured three contracts worth a total of $178 million to new build school buildings across the US.
